| - Entry to Practice - successfully advocated to upgrade RPNs entry to practice to diploma level from an approved Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology beginning 2005
- Successfully advocated for the updating of legislation to recognize the current RPN name and scope of practice
- Established RPN Day
- RPN representation at the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Implemented a year-long radio campaign on CFRB 1010 AM promoting issues concerning RPNs and the RPN profession including live phone-in talk shows
- Guest on television to radio
- Recruitment and Retention initiatives such as a new display, collaboratively developed recruitment package for students of all ages to consider nursing as a career choice and to enter the profession, province-wide trade shows, employer and college presentations
- Successfully lobbied for the lifting of admission caps in Ontario's Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology so more RPNs could enter the profession
- Successfully advocated for Foot Care in the basic Practical Nurse program
- Supported the creation of a union that solely represents the RPN profession
- Regular correspondence and meetings with the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care and the Associate Minister of Health and senior staff
- Assisted employers to expand RPN role
- Implemented a public relations campaign aimed at employers and Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) advocating the RPN role
- Recognition Awards for RPNs - President's Award, Student Awards, Employer's Award
